7.18.2000 - Tuesday - Marquette, MI |

| Played with Ang at the rink - and hung around the house most of the day. Got a haircut and stopped by Dennis' store for a bit. Not too much going on today.... Taking care of "swimmy" - our minister's son's pet gold fish. Looking forward to leaving for Delaware - was going to head out to camp one day this week - but its only going to be in the 60's - so no swimmy for me.... | |

| At camp again - more work got done - weird weather today - near 80 in the AM then upper 50's by dinner. Better working weather though... Stopped back into Ishpeming with Uncle Bob and ate at Buck's - had a breakfast pita omelet. | |

| Got a weed whacker, and headed back up to camp. The weather was perfect - brought up a tube and floated around on the lake in between yard work sessions. No scrape on the way in this time - but - still had the usual camp fare - of pasty - with a twist this time of lemonade, and coke, and la croix water, and cookies, and.... had some time to take a few lake and camp shots too.... | |

| Picked up Uncle Bob and headed out to camp to do some yard work and clean up. Scraped the bottom of the Merkur on the way out - don't think it did anything too drastic through. Got a lot of work done - the road into camp - the lawn and the picnic area were all mowed. Of course we had to stop for a pasty picnic and root beer - classic camp cuisine!!! One other laugh - mom walked the rest of the way out to point out the rocks to steer around - I mentioned that this was the U.P.'s version of valet parking... ahahhaha | |

| Got some programs finished up at the rink - Ang, Jessica, Jane, Kortney - felt good to get that done! The rest of the day was spent advertising the Kustom Edge site. Lounged around the rest of the night and enjoyed the fact that I didn't have to cut music!!! | |

| Hot summer day today - the squirrels were trying to take cover out of the sun - both fighting over who gets in the birdhouse... Stopped up to Aunt Grace's tonight - it was her 87th b-day today. | |

| Skating in the morning - and found some music with Ang for the long - from El Dorado. Worked on cutting music - and getting a few more things done to the skating site - stay tuned... In the meantime - check out the Eagle River past and present pix... Marcie called last night - we got to share some much needed laughs - looking forward to heading out to Delaware the end of the month to see/skate with her... | |

| Check out these cool dance pix - found them when I was cleaning out some files. Also - played around with Margot a bit - watching her do the Tango Romantica and basically directing the whole lesson. Got a message from Marcie - she was looking for the scoop on Eagle River - stay tuned tomorrow from some Eagle River past and present pix... Worked outside on the upper pond today - its still in the ugly, shaping, dirt only, stage. So when the liner and the rock gets started - then I'll take a few shots. Don't hold your breath - these things seem to always take longer than planned. Going to have to glue the upper pond and the stream together and get a new pump since the outlet valve broke off. | |

| Added some archived adventures from the old "Zoom" site - yah right - its so slow and unpredictable - hence the change over to this server - hope it stays fast enough... Just wanted to revive some old memories - and this was the quickest way to add more content to the new site... Worked on cleaning out the room and going through some clothes for donation. Hot day today - the laptop was kicking into high fan speed - yet still I toiled away at replying to Nikki - about 9 e-mails today - and added yet another Luna Lake section - these were some shots that John's cousin, Jenna took.... | |

| Got word from Nikki Melchori - its been a while since we've talked - sounds like she's having more fun now... Trish is going to be living with her soon - will be curious to see how that works out - should be good for the both of them... Went out to a garden tour in the afternoon and played around with the webcam stuff and homepage again today... Updated the Adventures section with the Chicago Downtown and Boat Trek sections. Also, check out these funny pix of Ang on that same Chicago trek... | |

| Been watching a lot of Wimbledon lately. Skated for a while in the AM - and looked for music with Ang for along program. Was planning on doing something "fun" this weekend - but since I did practically nothing all week - will probably get caught up on things.... | |

| Stopped by to the rink for a bit and saw Angie and Aaron. Slept for most of the afternoon - it could be the futon, lack of things going on, or catching up from the long Eagle River days - my guess is a combination of the above with the emphasis on.... not much going on.... | |

| Got over to the Ishpeming parade in the morning with Aunt Grace and Uncle Bob. Stopped by the Al Qual area for a picnic and hung out most of the day there. The day was perfect - sun - dry - and relaxing. | |
